At the exact moment this post is posted on this blog, I will be departing Adelaide on my way to Japan (via Singapore). Fingers crossed that the sky doesn't look anything like what is in the picture and also that I haven't died of dehydration or spontaneous combustion. It was forty two degrees (108 for you Fahrenheiters) last night in my city and our air conditioner broke at lunchtime.What's worse? I have to get on the plane with warm weather clothing on when all I want to do is walk around a cool house in my underwear. Jeans and Doc Martins are not summer clothing but Japan has a top of ten degrees Celsius (50 degrees F) all week and I need to be prepared.
On that note, know that I am assuming that I will be off Twitter for the next few days (with an exception to the layover in Singapore). To tide you over, here's my favourite scene in 1998's Armageddon...
